INTERNATIONAL STUDENT HEALTH INSURANCE - IMMIGRANTS

VISITING, WORKING IN THE USA, OR IMMIGRATING TO THE USA

Plans A, B, C, and D below provide various deductibles, but all offer 80/20 co-insurance options. All provide limited time coverage for non-Americans working, studying, or visiting in the USA. In-patient and out-patient hospital care is included. Prescriptions are covered after the deductible has been met.

PLAN A – INBOUND IMMIGRANT

This plan must become effective within 24 months on arrival in the USA. It provides from one month to five years of coverage and provides maternity coverage up to $2,500. The policy maximum for this plan is $100,000

PLAN B – INBOUND USA

This plan is available to non-United States citizens who come to the USA for business, pleasure, to study, or to immigrate. The program must become effective within 12 months of arrival in the USA. PLAN C – LIAISON INTERNATIONAL

This is an association supplemental plan with medical benefits. It is a “guarantee issue” plan which means no one will be declined for coverage. No pre-existing conditions are covered for the first 12 months. Benefits include $2,000 for intensive care, $20,000 annually for surgery, $50 doctor visits, $15 Rx and much more.

PLAN D – LONG-TERM PLANS

Long-term plans are those that can be renewed beyond three years. They also provide good maternity coverage. Three long-term plans providing this kind of coverage are available to the international visitor, worker, student, or immigrant to the USA.

Of the five career/long-term plans offered by GNI, Plans A, B and E are available to international students, visitors, workers and immigrants to the USA. Please study these three career plans.
