INTERNATIONAL INSURANCE COMPANIES ARE MORE FLEXIBLE

ADDED FLEXIBILITY WITH INTERNATIONAL INSURANCE COMPANIES

All international health insurance companies seek to adhere to the US HIPAA guidelines and other laws relating to international insurance. But international health insurance companies are called “Surplus Lines Carriers” and are not subject to all of the laws that domestic insurance companies must adhere to. Of course these international companies may not sell domestic health insurance either. But because they are “Surplus Lines” or “Off Shore” carriers they do not need to add all of the insurance mandates that domestic companies do, e.g. they don’t have to add chiropractic or coverage for AIDS etc although often they do. You will find it much more cost effective to get international group health coverage than domestic group health coverage.
