- Requires travelers to have US underwritten plan or Medicare A,B and C if you want pre-existing conditions to be covered
PRE-EXISTING CONDITIONS EXPLANATION: * A Primary Plan is a Group Health Benefit Plan, an individual health benefit plan, or a governmental health plan designed to be the first payor of claims (such as Medicare) for an Insured Person prior to the responsibility of this Plan. Such plans must have coverage limits in excess of $50,000 per incident or per year to be considered a Primary Plan. Group Health Benefit Plan means a group, blanket, or franchise insurance policy, a certificate issued under a group policy, a group hospital service contract, or a group subscriber contract or evidence of coverage issued by a health maintenance organization that provides benefits for health care services. TRIP PROTECTOR INSURANCE

(Only for international travel)
VOYAGER
- Covers pre-existing conditions for medical evacuation, repatriation of remains and bedside visit benefit *
- Coverage must originate in the USA
- Must not be over 74 years of age
- Coverage limited to six months
- Coverage only for trips outside the USA
- Limited pre-existing condition coverage
- Per-day rates
PRE-EXISTING CONDITON EXPLANATION: * A Pre-existing conditions means a medical condition for which medical advice, diagnosis, care, or treatment was recommended or received during the 6 months immediately preceding the Insured Person’s Effective Date of Coverage. Benefits are not available for any services received on or within 6 months after the Eligibility Date of an Insured Person, if those services are related to a Pre-existing condition as defined above. This exclusion does not apply to a Newborn that is enrolled within 31 days of birth or a newly adopted child that is enrolled within 31 days from either the placement of the child in the home, or the date of the final decree of adoption.
OUTREACH INTERNATIONAL (Travel Insurance with Pre Existing Medical Conditions)

- If overseas ten months, can purchase two months of coverage in USA

PRE-EXISTING CONDITON EXPLANATION: * Sudden Recurrence of a Pre-Existing Condition: (US Citizens only) Up to US$15,000 will be paid for the eligible expenses of a sudden and unexpected recurrence of a Pre-existing Conditions while traveling outside the US. In addition, up to US$25,000 will be paid for the eligible costs and expenses of an Emergency medical Evacuation arising or resulting from a sudden and unexpected recurrence of a Pre-Existing Condition. A pre-existing condition is defined as any injury, illness, sickness, disease, or other physical, medical, mental or nervous condition, disorder or ailment that, with reasonable medical certainty, existed at the time of application or at any time during the three years prior to the effective date of the insurance, whether or not previously manifested or symptomatic, diagnosed, treated, or disclosed prior to the effective date, including any subsequent, chronic or recurring complications or consequences related thereto or arising there from.
ATLAS INTERNATIONAL (Travel Insurance Pre Existing Condition Coverage)
- Coverage for an acute onset and unexpected outbreak or recurrence of a pre-existing condition*
- Sports rider available
- Political evacuation
- Coverage only for trips outside the USA
- Medical benefits provided up to six months from time of injury/sickness
- One month of home country coverage available if meet requirements
- Renewable up to three years
PRE-EXISTING CONDITON EXPLANATION: * Charges resulting directly or indirectly from any pre-existing condition are excluded from this insurance. A pre-existing condition is any illness, injury or medical condition or chronic or recurring illness or injury or medical condition, including any associated complications preceding your effective date. If you are under age 70, you are eligible for medical and emergency medical evacuation expenses resulting from an acute onset of a preexisting condition. An acute onset is a sudden and unexpected outbreak or recurrence of a pre-existing condition which occurs spontaneously and without advance warning either in the form of physician hours.
LIAISON INTERNATIONAL Travel Insurance with Medical Conditions)
- Coverage of pre-existing conditions: Up to $20,000 for U.S. citizens traveling outside the United States and Canada*
- Very strong medical evacuation coverage of $300,000
- Provides maximum of six months coverage
PRE-EXISTING CONDITON EXPLANATION: * For Medical benefits, this Insurance does not cover: Any Injury or Illness which meets the following criteria: a) condition(s) that would have caused a person to seek medical advice, diagnosis, care or treatment during the thirty-six (36) months prior to the Effective Date of coverage under this Policy; b) condition(s) for which manifestation, medical advice, diagnosis, care or treatment was recommended, received, or noticed during the thirty-six (36) months prior to the Effective Date of coverage under this Policy; If you are traveling outside the United States and Canada, the period is twelve (12) months instead of thirty-six (36) months. If you are a United States citizen and the United States is your Home Country, this exclusion is waived for the first $20,000 in eligible medical expenses incurred outside the United States and Canada (for persons age 65 and over, the amount is $2,500). This waiver does not include coverage for known, scheduled, required, or expected medical care, drugs, or treatments existent or necessary prior to the effective date of this program. LIASON MAJESTIC (Travel Insurance Medical Conditions waiver)
- Waiver of pre-existing conditions: Up to $20,000 for U.S. citizens traveling outside the United States*

PRE-EXISTING CONDITION INSURANCE COVERAGE FOR THOSE LIVING AND/OR WORKING OUTSIDE THE USA
Are you are planning to live or work outside the USA for longer periods of time? You may prefer international long-term health insurance. Below are several key overseas long-term plans and information about their coverage on pre-existing health conditions.
HTH GLOBAL CITIZEN
If you are a U.S. resident (this plan is only for U.S. residents who live in the USA or live and work outside the USA) and accepted for coverage on this plan, after a six-month waiting period, all pre-existing health conditions will be covered.
PRE-EXISTING CONDITON EXPLANATION: A pre-existing condition means a medical condition for which medical advice, diagnosis, care, or treatment was recommended or received during the 6 months immediately preceding the eligibility date. Benefits are not available for any services received: (1) on or within 6 months after the Eligibility Date of an Insured Person who is not a late Enrollee; or (2) on or within 6 months after the Effective Date of Coverage for a Late Enrollee, if those services are related to a Pre-existing condition as defined in the Definitions section. This exclusion does not apply to a newborn that is enrolled within 31 days of birth or a newly adopted child that is enrolled within 31 days from the date of placement of the child in the home, or the date of the final decree of adoption. Exception: The insurer will credit time an Insured Person was covered by Creditable coverage that was in effect up to a date not more than 63 days before the Effective Date of Coverage under this Plan, excluding the Waiting Period. This limitation does not apply to the Medical Evacuation Benefit, the Repatriation of Remains Benefit and to the Bedside Visit Benefit.
MNU CITIZEN SECURE
This plan may put temporary riders (waivers) for two, three, or five years on some pre-existing conditions, and/or sometimes permanent riders. This means that certain conditions will not be covered for those periods of time. Once the riders are removed, the pre-existing condition will be covered.
PRE-EXISTING CONDITON EXPLANATION:Pre-existing Conditions: If your Pre-existing Conditions have been fully disclosed on your Application for CitizenSecureSM and are not excluded or restricted by a Rider or any other provision of your Certificate, your Pre-existing Conditions are covered in the same way as any other Illness or Injury as of your effective date. If your Pre-existing Conditions have been fully disclosed on your Application for Citizen Secure Economy and are not excluded or restricted by any other provision of your Certificate, your Pre-existing Conditions are covered up to $5,000 per Certificate Period and $50,000 Lifetime limit after you have been insured continuously for 24 months. Pre-existing conditions need to be fully disclosed on your Application. . Pre-existing Conditions include any Injury, Illness or Mental Health Disorder that existed at or prior to your initial effective date, including chronic or recurring conditions.
RESIDE PRIME WORLDWIDE
This plan will include riders (waivers) on certain serious pre-existing conditions. It also will not cover any pre-existing conditions for the first two years of coverage. After that it limits coverage to $5,000 per year on pre-existing conditions.
PRE-EXISTING CONDITON EXPLANATION: Pre-existing Conditions: If an existing medical condition is fully and accurately disclosed on the application, and the condition is not excluded or restricted by an exclusionary rider, your pre-existing condition will be covered up to a lifetime maximum of $50,000 ($5,000 limit per year) after you have been continuously insured for 24 months. Pre-existing conditions are any Injury or Illness that meets the following criteria: 1) A condition that would have caused a person to seek medical advice, diagnosis, care or treatment prior to the Effective Date of coverage under this Certificate; 2) A condition for which manifestation, medical advice, diagnosis, care or treatment (including medication) was recommended or received prior to the Effective Date of coverage under this Certificate; 3) Expenses for Pregnancy within twelve (12) months of the Effective Date of coverage under this Certificate.
GLOBAL MEDICAL INSURANCE
This plan will cover no pre-existing conditions for the first two years. After that it will provide $50,000 ($5,000 limit per year) on pre-existing conditions.
PRE-EXISTING CONDITON EXPLANATION: After coverage has been in effect for 24 continuous months, Global Mission Medical Insurance provides a US$50,000 lifetime benefit for eligible pre-existing conditions that existed at or prior to the effective date, subject to a maximum of US$5,000 per period of coverage. This benefit is payable whether or not you have received consultation or treatment for the condition(s) during the 24-month period. This is important since few pre-existing conditions remain free from ongoing consultation or treatment, and often do not qualify for coverage in standard plans. Global Mission Medical Insurance does not rider or charge additional premium for pre-existing conditions. If you properly disclose a pre-existing condition at the time of application, and are accepted into the plan, you will be covered for eligible medical expenses after 24 months of continuous coverage, subject to the foregoing limits and the other terms of the plan.* The following illnesses which exist, manifest themselves or are treated or have treatment recommended prior to or during the first 180 days of coverage from the initial effective date are considered pre-existing conditions under the plan, and are subject to the waiting period and other limitations of coverage described above: asthma, allergies, tonsillectomy, back conditions, adenoidectomy, hemorrhoids or hemorrhoidectomy, disorders of the reproductive system, hysterectomy, hernia, gall stones or kidney stones, any condition of the breast, and any condition of the prostate.
