ALL PLANS BELOW cover hospitalization, out-patient, office visits and prescriptions after the deductible is met. They also have a sports-rider option, and can be applied for online. None covers maternity or pre-existing conditions except in special situation. For three of the plans we have included, in red, the daily rates for $50,000 of maximum coverage with a $250 deductible for an individual between the ages of 19-29:
PLAN AI (Medical and Medical Evacuation Coverage; 0-29 yrs old -- $32 a month) 19-29 yrs old -- $1.00 per day)
A one-year overseas health insurance plan. Must pay for a minimum of 15 days of coverage. The sports rider includes coverage for playing non-professional soccer. Benefit period is six months from the time of injury. Medical care can be received in the USA to the policy maximum. Disadvantage: Must pay for at least 15 days of coverage, cannot renew online.
PLAN LI (Medical and Medical Evacuation Coverage; 0-29 yrs old -- $1.13 per day) 19-29 yrs old -- $1.07 per day)
Provides $15,000 of coverage for unexpected recurrence of pre-existing conditions if care is received outside the USA. Five days of coverage in the USA for every month the insured is outside the USA during each policy year. Daily rates offered, but must pay for a minimum of seven days. Option of renewing online and paying month by month. The plan provides $100,000 of medical evacuation coverage. Disadvantage: Coverage received in the USA limited to $5,000.
PLAN OI (Medical and Medical Evacuation Coverage; 0-29 yrs old -- $1.20 per day) 19-29 yrs old -- $1.15 per day)
A one-year and a two-year plan (renewable to two years). Provides $15,000 for unexpected recurrence of pre-existing conditions. Benefit period is six months from the time of injury. Daily rates offered, but must pay for a minimum of ten days. Option of “Terrorism Rider” offered in certain countries. Disadvantage: Not able to renew online, minimum purchase of three months if you choose the two-year plan.
PLAN EXCURSION (Medical, Medical Evacuation, Pre-existing coverage covered in full)
For all of your pre-existing
medical conditions covered we would suggest you take a serious look at our
HTH EXCURSION plan. As long as you have a US domestic health
insurance plan (examples would be group insurance, individual health
insurance plans like Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna to name a couple, and
Medicare) while you travel overseas this plan will cover your pre-existing
conditions. US and non-US citizens may purchase this plan but the start of
the trip must originate from the
Plan RT and Plan TP are basically Trip Cancellation plans that also include coverage for medical care and medical evacuation.
PLAN RT (Medical, Medical Evacuation, and Trip Cancellation Coverage)
This plan is only available for Americans or people living in the USA that have a Green Card. Plan provides $50,000 of medical coverage, $250,000 of medical evacuation coverage and trip cancellation up to $20,000. Premium is based on trip cost and your age. For a trip costing $1200 (airline ticket, lodging reservation, etc.), a person 55 or under would pay $58 a month and $3 for every day over a month. Extra flight insurance is available. Disadvantage: Expensive for younger ages.

PLAN TP (Medical, Medical Evacuation, Trip Cancellation)
This plan is only available to Americans and Canadians who primary residence is in the USA or Canada. The “Trip Protector plan provides up to $100,000 of medical expense coverage as well as $250,000 for medical evacuation. Premium is based on trip cost and your age. You have two options: “Trip Protector” and “Trip Protector Preferred.”
