WHY USE A BROKER OR AN AGENT? HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
The good news is that it does not cost you any extra to use an agent or broker! There is no surcharge, and you would pay exactly the same price if you went directly to the company. You never pay an extra penny for using an agent.
So how can an agent help? Usually an agent is the representative of one company. A good agent focuses on helping his clients understand the insurance products of the company he represents. He also builds a personal relationship with the client, something the company cannot do because of the volume of their business. If he is a good agent, his focus will be on service, and he makes an effort to be available for his clients.
A broker represents the client and not a specific company. A broker, because he has contact with many companies, can offer a wide variety of products to help his client find the best plan for his/her specific needs. Good Neighbor Insurance is a broker, and we are contracted with ten different international health insurance companies. Therefore, we have a large array of insurance plans to offer you. You can see a wide variety of our plans by going to our corporate web site: www.gninsurance.com.
