Director of Individual and Team Sales
Born and raised in small-town Illinois, my childhood was a John Cougar Mellencamp song! In the winter of 2012, the opportunity to make the move across country presented itself. So I packed up my little SUV with my kids and Basset Hound and journeyed to Phoenix. Within a couple weeks of getting here, I joined the Ahwatukee Foothills Community Band (I have played the trumpet since I was ten). I am the mother of two grown daughters who make me feel much older than I am, and my son is in middle school. My son and I are currently members of Cornerstone church in Chandler. At Good Neighbor, I find myself surrounded by terrific company. I am a truly blessed person!
Five Questions For Tracy
1.) What experience and skills do you bring to clients of Good Neighbor, and how does it help non-profits, charities and individual travelers?
I have over 15 years’ experience in the hospitality industry, and many years’ experience in an administrative role. I look forward to connecting with many world travelers.
2.) What does “Good Neighbor Insurance” mean to you?
Being a “Good Neighbor” means that we will go above and beyond to treat every client the way we ourselves would want to be treated. Every person, every story, every trip, every loved one is important and we care about everyone’s protection.
3.) Tracy, where have you traveled to/lived? What did you like about it and what has it taught you?
I am originally from northern Illinois, and I loved taking spur of the moment road trips. One day I decided to load the kids in the car and take the drive from Illinois to Niagara Falls (about a ten hour drive). It was beautiful, and I hope I’m showing my kids how to live in the moment and enjoy each day.
4.) Your Bucket List: What are the next three places you’d like to go, or things you’d like to do, if money were no object?
I’m a musician at heart, and I love jazz. New Orleans is definitely on my list! Maybe not for Mardi Gras, but for the jazz festival they have in April.
My mother’s side of the family has very strong Irish roots. A cousin of mine is into genealogy and knows the birthplace of many of our ancestors. Ireland would also be on my list.
My third choice would involve a white sandy beach, blue water, and warm air. I’m open to the location!
5.) Tell us your best travel tip, or bit of expatriate advice, to help those traveling or living overseas:
Make sure you protect yourself in every way, but always live happy.
Name two things you are grateful for?
1.) I am grateful that I am so loved by God!
2.) I am grateful for three beautiful, healthy, loving children and two grandsons.
