Our Sky Rescue medical evacuation only travel plan, http://bit.ly/19teAcv, is a favorite travel plan for our clients. Especially those who might already have a medical plan that covers them overseas but does not include medical evacuation, which is usually the most costly part of any accident overseas. We have many travel guests of ours who need this evacuation-only coverage. This plan works for those under 65 years.
Here are two questions our clients have asked this past month to our professional international insurance agents. We have also included our answers to them right below.
Question: If I need a medical evacuation which is related to my pregnancy / related to my current maternity status will the Sky Rescue medical evacuation (medical transportation) benefit cover me?
Answer: No. Expenses for maternity coverage are not covered at all on the Sky Rescue, including on the evacuation benefit. Thus, maternity is not a covered medical benefit (there are no medical benefits on this plan) and also not covered under the medical evacuation benefit of the Sky Rescue plan.
Question: Are medical benefits covered on this plan?
Answer: No. The Sky Rescue plan is not a medical insurance plan (does not have medical benefits). It is primarily a medical evacuation plan with the option of adding AD&D (accidental death and dismemberment) for those who already have medical coverage.
