Mark Sequeira, Marketing Director here at Good Neighbor Insurance, demonstrates a loadout of his personal Wildcard, Greenroom136 Junkmonkey (Heretic) Messenger bag by Greenroom136. He also has created other videos about the many features that this messenger bag has, in both Part 1 and Part 2, where you can see the details of this highly customizable messenger bag. In fact, you can customize the colors/panels on the bag, add features, change sizes, and carry straps. Plus you can easily make it a left or right hand carry in less than a minute. This is one of our favorite travel bags at GNI because it is very affordable, expandable, and durable for traveling.
The Greenroom136 Junkmonkey Travel / Messenger bag – How much is it really able to hold?
Starting in the far back is a hidden mesh pocket. This zippered secret pocket can be used for sensitive documents and cash can be stored. It is a great quick-stash security pocket. The side corner pockets can hold a full sized coffee mug in one, or a portable back up hard drive, headphones, a computer mouse, and a rag for cleaning your screen.
In the inside center front panel pocket (which is not the main pocket), you can keep cables, chargers, batteries, and other necessary equipment, additional drives and your power cable.
There is also a discreet pocket in the very front panel on the outside of the bag under the flap. This can be accessed while the bag is closed. Mark keeps reading glasses, moleskin, and mints in his.
Now, the main compartment! This area has a laptop pouch with the selt belt strap over the top, but it also has three other areas, one side wall pouch with a zipper, and four mini sleeve pouches on the wall of that zipper pouch. This bag is well designed to house a laptop for travelers or commuters versus a true messenger bag where there is usually one large pocket and everything gets dumped in there. In this case the Mac laptop in this video is a 15 inch MacBookPro. Behind the corduroy laptop portion of the main compartment, toward the back you can store books and magazines upright and flat. One cool thing is that it is sized so that you can either fit books or magazines in the bag upright (two side by side without overlap) or horizontally. In the front pouch of the laptop portion there is an included keychain holder with quick clip release. It also has a light divider to make two separate pouches. Mark uses this divider to hold clips for paper and for conferences where badges are used, and for his Apple Shuffle. In this area of the bag, you can fit two other hard drives in a neoprene case, a backup clone of the laptop system, and a usb 3 cable. In the smaller pouches on the side wall zipper, you can stash pens, markers, a nail file, a mini tripod for a mobile phone, artist Exacto knife, and whatever else you haul around with you everyday. (Usually a tripod mount is in the bag as well, but that was used to hold the phone to film the video.)
Mark also reloads everything back in the bag to show you how much fits inside this Greenroom136 Wildcard Junkmonkey Heretic Messenger bag. Get yours at www.greenroom136.com and tell them GNI sent you!
