Sedona Jeep Tours are a great way to see Sedona and all of her beauty

May 13, 2014 By : Doug Gulleson

If you’re like most people, it’s hard to not to come to the end of a paved road and not wonder “Where does that road go?” Although most people only use their SUV’s for on-road transportation only, Sedona is the kind of place that temps many to brave the trail.

As one would imagine, driving on even a smooth dirt road requires certain techniques and etiquette that is quite different from the on-pavement driving we’re accustomed to. If you’re in Sedona and interested in driving your own vehicle off road safely and proficiently Sedona Jeep School is the place for you.

Sedona Jeep School offers driving instruction in your own four-wheel-drive vehicle as well as offering rental packages through Farabee Jeep Rentals. The school was created by owner/instructor Nena Barlow to bridge the void between the many offered tours and rentals offered. They will help you push your vehicle and skills to the next level.

A typical training session at the school starts would begin something like this:

  • “What types of terrain have you driven before?”
  • “What level of rugged terrain do you want to learn to drive?
  • Upon completing a course, students have an understanding of their capabilities as well as the capabilities of their SUV. To learn more about the school please visit their web site https://barlows.us/4wd-training/.
