Annual travel insurance plans or multi-trip plans are for frequent fliers and those who travel often and do not want to have to remember or apply for a new travel insurance plan each time before they travel. Most multi trip plans feature all the same travel and medical benefits of individual travel plans, but also have the added convenience of keeping the same insurance card in your wallet, just like your domestic health I.D. card and the same emergency contact number.

The majority of annual travel insurance plans are renewable year after year and feature annual reminders before your insurance expires if you wish to renew. Most of them feature unlimited trips up to 60 days per trip although some feature trips up to 90 days per trip.

Annual plans are also convenient for those living part time out of country and part of the year at home.
