Answer: By enrolling all travelers together, a team coordinator has the peace of mind that everyone has their group travel medical insurance coverage for the trip.  Also, a short-term group travel medical plan is a more a cost-effective option versus having an individual travel medical insurance plan for each person.

Question: Does our group travel medical insurance plan cover emergency medical evacuation?

Answer: Yes, all of our group travel medical insurance plans, https://www.gninsurance.com/group-travel, that Good Neighbor Insurance offers have emergency medical evacuation coverage.

Question: When I receive a quote for my entire team’s group travel medical insurance, is the premium quote for the entire group / team or per person?

Answer: The total premium quoted is the total cost for your entire group / team.

Question: If the premium is for my entire short-term team, are the medical maximums limits and deductible amounts per person?

Answer: Yes, the medical maximum limit, and deductible, and the benefits provided are all per person.

Question: What do I do if a member of my short-term team is not able to go on this trip?  May I cancel just the one person and get a refund for their costs?

Answer: Yes, you may email [email protected] to request cancellation of that team member’s  coverage, prior to your trip starting for a full refund of an individual’s premium on most of our group travel medical insurance plans.

Question: Are pre-existing medical conditions covered on our group travel medical insurance plan?

Answer: Most of our group travel medical insurance plans have limited coverage for the sudden or acute onset of a stable pre-existing condition. If there is anyone on your team that is concerned with stronger pre-existing coverage, we can help.  Please contact us for possible recommendations.
