Why we like it:
We recommend groups consider long term and short term group disability insurance. Workers overseas may become injured or get ill that may affect their ability to work for an extended period of time. It may affect their income and family. It is also one way employers protect their company from liability issues when sending staff abroad on assignment.
We like that this plan offers both long term disability and short term disability options to fit your specific needs and can consider higher salary amounts. It is also available if you have just a few workers on assignment.

Why International Long-Term Group Disability Insurance?
What is LTD insurance?
LTD is an insurance product / vehicle that provides supplementary income in the event of an illness or accident which prevents the policy holder from working at their regular employment.
LTD vs. AD&D
Int’l. AD&D provides for your workers’ family in case of death, or if they are critically injured, or lose their sight. Long Term Disability (LTD) offers a source of income if a staff member experiences a long-term illness or injury overseas that prevents them from working as they did before.
LTD statistics
Statistics say that if someone needs LTD, they will be out of work for 3.5 years on average. And 1-in-4 workers in their 20’s will need long-term disability sometime during their lifetime. This is according to the Department of Social Security. This number increases when you factor in working abroad, sometimes in poorer conditions or with less access to high-quality medical care.
