Our BCBS Single Trip Group Travel Insurance offers two levels of coverage for our guests. Both will cover your team from a few days up to 6 months for as few as five travelers. The BCBS Single Trip Group Platinum Plan includes pre-existing medical condition coverage:
- BCBS Single Trip Group Platinum Travel Insurance – Will cover pre-existing medical conditions but must have a U.S. health insurance policy when on this policy.
- BCBS Single Trip Group Gold Travel Insurance Plan – Does not cover pre-existing medical conditions, and you do not need a U.S. health insurance policy when on this policy.

Both International BCBS Single Trip Group Travel Insurance Options Include:
- Medical and emergency evacuation coverage
- Medical health insurance coverage while outside of the U.S.

BCBS Single Trip Group Platinum Travel Insurance Plan
- Participants must have current U.S. domestic health insurance (or Medicare Part A, Part B) for team members be covered under this travel insurance plan.
- Covers unexpected recurrence of pre-existing health conditions.
- Any coverage for maintenance medical care and maintenance Rx is not covered.
- Maintenance medical care also include medications prescribed for chronic and/or long-term medical conditions or Rx taken on an ongoing basis.
- Coverage starts for U.S. and non U.S. citizens starting their travels outside the U.S. from their U.S. resident
- BCBS Single Trip Group Travel Insurance plan is not available for NY, WA, or MD residents.
BCBS Single Trip Group Gold Travel Insurance Plan
- Coverage starts once outside the United States
- U.S. residents may apply
- No pre-existing medical conditions are covered under the Single Trip Gold plan.
