David Herlianto
Born and raised in Malang. Currently 27 years old. I am an INFJ. Graduated as a bachelor of Computer Science in December 2017 and 3 months after graduation, I joined Good Neighbor’s team. Besides that, I have many interests like photography, music, tech stuff, finance stuff, automotive, philosophy and so many other things, it makes me see things from many points of view. Problem solvings is my other unique interest. I love to figure out any misunderstanding/problems and love to find solutions for them, it brings joy to me.
Five Questions For David
1.) What Experience And Skills Do You Bring To Clients Of Good Neighbor, And How Does It Help Non-Profits, Charities And Individual Travelers?
I have helped the charity program at my church. And I also like traveling, so sometimes I am the one trying to help my friends when they travel, such as preparing travel budgets and travel planning so that they enjoy their trip.
2.) What does “Good Neighbor Insurance” mean to you?
For me “Good Neighbor” means, like our next door neighbor, being the first people to help us when we have a problem. So, I think Good Neighbor is like that ‘neighbor’, who is always there to help us (especially with our insurance needs), protecting us wherever we go!
3.) Where have you traveled to/lived? What did you like about it, and what has it taught you?
I am from Malang, East Java. I like to take trips by motorcycle. In December 2016, I traveled from Malang to Bali by motorcycle. It took about 15 hours. It was an amazing trip, and quickly became one of my favorite trips.
4.) Your Bucket List: What are the next three places you’d like to go, or things you’d like to do, if money were no object?
I love traveling! Labuan Bajo is next on my list. I want to visit Manta Point which is a popular diving spot to see Manta Rays. I will need a diving license before visiting this place, and I hope to get that certification soon.
5.) Tell us your best travel tip, or bit of expatriate advice, to help those traveling or living overseas:
- Be safe,
- Have fun,
- Create memories/a story on every trip.
But, “safety is always first!”
Name two things you are grateful for?
1.) I am very grateful that I am saved by God
2.) I am very grateful for everything that God has given to me – my talents, my skills, my passion to achieve my goals.
