However, we do offer domestic travel insurance in the USA that covers emergencies and illness and accidents if you are over 100 miles from home. We also offer plans for those needing temporary health insurance in the USA while they are traveling around or simply seeking employment/are between jobs.

Some of these “for U.S. within the U.S.” health plans require you to have domestic insurance. Some do NOT allow you to have prior U.S. domestic health coverage.
