International medical insurance indemnity benefit

June 12, 2013 By : Doug Gulleson

What is an indemnity benefit on international medical insurance policy?  (https://www.gninsurance.com/health/)  Great question!  An indemnity benefit on plans such as our GMMI international medical insurance career plan or GMI International health insurance works as follows:

A cash benefit of $400 per day (in addition to medical expenses paid) sent directly to the insured for approved hospital stays outside the USA (usually up to 5 – 10 days you are an inpatient at a hospital).

For example, our GMMI plans, pays the policyholder $400 per day to get pre-approved treatment outside the USA.They also help policyholders select the best hospitals and doctors worldwide through their Akeso service.  Under the GMI and GMMI plans (all five options Bronze, Silver, Gold, GoldPlus and Platinum) the benefits payable for eligible hospitalizations are $400 per day of hospitalization up a lifetime maximum.

For more information on other indemnity benefit plans on our international career medical insurance policies please call any of our agents at 480-813-9100 or our toll free number at 866-636-9100.  Or you may email Good Neighbor Insurance at info@gninsurance.com.
